생체 내(In vivo)
Favipiravir (T-705)은 200 mg/kg/day (p.o.)로 투여했을 때 인플루엔자 바이러스에 감염된 쥐를 사망으로부터 보호합니다. 에볼라 바이러스에 실험적으로 감염된 쥐에서 이 화합물은 바이러스 생산을 효율적으로 차단하여 치료 시작 후 2일 및 6일에 각각 95% 및 99.6%의 항바이러스 효과를 달성합니다.
